We offer two types of cover. Basic Cover: provides you with essential protection plus a range of optional extensions that can be selected to suit your specific insurance requirements. Comprehensive Cover: includes all the benefits of Basic cover plus a range of additional inclusive cover items.

INSURED PERILS

Items are covered within the insured address on a "new for old" basis against loss or damage by fire, flood, storm, theft, escape of water and other similar causes. Except clothing, linen and rented household goods where a deduction is made for "wear and tear".

BASIC COVER: WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Possessions within the insured address: Cover available from £2,000 to £8,000 in total.
  • Desktop Computer Equipment: Cover included automatically. Item limits apply.
  • Landlords Property | Tenants Liability: Up to £5,000 in total as standard.

BASIC COVER: OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS

A range of Optional Extensions are available to cover items such as Laptop & Portable Computers, Mobile Phones, Cycles, Accidental Damage, Criminal Assault, Legal Expenses and All Risks cover away from the insured address for specified items.

COMPREHENSIVE COVER: WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Possessions within the insured address: Cover available from £2,000 to £8,000 in total.
  • Desktop Computer Equipment: Cover included automatically. Item limits apply.
  • Landlords Property | Tenants Liability: Up to £5,000 in total as standard.
  • Laptop & Portable Computer Equipment: Cover is provided within the insured address as standard. Item limits apply.
  • Accidental Damage: Cover for accidental damage within the insured address.
  • Criminal Assault: Up to £500 cover for costs incurred to you as a direct result of a criminal assault.
  • Legal Expenses: Up to £30,000 of cover.
  • Personal Accident Cover: Up to £10,000 cover included automatically.
  • Legal Liability Cover: Up to £1,000,000.
  • Fraudulent use of Credit & Debit Cards: Up to £500 cover for fraudulent use of your credit & debit cards following theft from your accommodation.
  • Personal Money Cover: up to £50 following theft from your accommodation.

COMPREHENSIVE COVER: OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS

Comprehensive Cover can be extended to include any of the following items.

  • Laptop & Portable Computers | All Risks: Cover outside of the insured address for accidental damage or theft anywhere within the UK.
